Verification Code is a 5 characters PIN to conduct a transaction over the web. You will receive your verification code on your registered email and mobile through email and SMS respectively.

How many Verification Code can you generate?

A verification code can be generated once in a minute.

What if I do not receive my verification code through SMS?

If for any reason you do not receive your verification code through SMS you may retrieve your verification code via your registered Email address.

What happens if I leave my computer unattended while being logged in for a period of time?

You will be automatically logged out from web banking, and the session will be terminated. You will have to log in again to continue. However you are advised to immediately logout after performing the desired operation.

How often do I have to change my password?

It is recommended that you change your password frequently. Your password is your key to web banking, so its important that you take precautionary steps to keep it safe. To change your password, use the Change Password option found in Settings tab.

What is RAAST ID?

RAAST ID is a simple identifier (currently mobile number) that you link with your bank account. Instead of sharing bank account numbers, you can now share your RAAST ID with others and start receiving funds in your linked account. You don’t need to remember your IBAN or Account Numbers.

Do I need a bank account to use RAAST?

Yes, you need to have an account with a bank or any other payment service provider to connect it with RAAST.

Do I need to register a RAAST ID to use RAAST?

Yes, you will need to register your RAAST ID if you wish to receive payments on your RAAST ID (eg. phone number). However, you do not need to register to send payments to other RAAST IDs and IBANs.

Can I register multiple RAAST IDs and/or multiple accounts against a RAAST ID?

Currently, an individual can only register one RAAST ID with one linked account (regardless of the number of bank accounts or mobile numbers they may have).

Can I change my linked bank account against my RAAST ID?

Yes, you can de-link your RAAST ID from your current bank account and can re-link this RAAST ID with another bank account. For further details please contact your respective bank.

How can I modify/delete my RAAST ID or my consumer details?

You can use the RAAST ID management option on HABIBMETRO Mobile and Web Banking to link/delink and delete you RAAST ID.

Is there any limit on transactions on RAAST?

Currently, the limit per transaction is PKR 200,000 /-. The daily limit is PKR 1,000,000 on All Channels i.e. Branch Counters, Mobile and Web Banking separately.
